Jesus commanded his followers to take the gospel of salvation into all the world. We believe that Christians still have that responsibility today. So, by prayer and giving we help to support Christian work and witness in many parts of the world, including Taiwan, Kenya, S America, S E Asia, Nepal, Mexico, Sri Lanka and North Africa. We also encourage our members to support the work of TearFund and AID, Christian relief organisations, and that of Wycliffe Bible Translators, believing that all people have a right to the Bible in their own 'heart' language. At home, we support the work of Scripture Union, UCCF and the Christian Institute, as well as other home mission work such as Urban Vision. Each summer we encourage short term teams to engage in mission; others give a year or more to more focussed mission service in a gap year, or a 'time out' career break. Our responsibility is to Pray, Give, Go, and to this end we co-operate with established evangelical mission agencies.
